Dulhasti Power Station organizes seminar under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and hands over ambulance to NGO

  Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences, Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office and Personnel, Ministry of Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space Dr. Jitendra Singh and Chairman and Managing Director of  NHPC Shri A. K. Singh  attended the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program organized by Dulhasti Power Station and handed over an ambulance under CSR scheme. NHPC Dulhasti Power Station is organising various programs under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.   Speaking at the event, Dr. Jitendra Singh encouraged people to come forward to serve the nation. He also spoke about the ongoing projects of NHPC in district Kishtwar and said that in the coming time, Kishtwar is going to become a power hub of power generation with the  completion of these projects.   Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs,  Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman  inaugurated the newly constructed 132/33/11 kV Mohanpur Sub-station in Tripura on 27 th  August, 2021, in presence of  Chief Minister of Tripura,  Mr. Biplab Kumar Deb , Dy. CM of Tripura, Mr. Jishnu Dev Varma and Minister of Education, Tripura, Mr. Ratan Lal Nath. This Sub-station has been constructed by  Power Grid Corporation of India Limited  (POWERGRID), a Maharatna CPSU under Ministry of Power, Government of India for Tripura under  North Eastern Region Power System Improvement Project  (NERPSIP).   NERPSIP is a Central sector plan scheme of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, envisioned to drive economic development of the North Eastern region of the country. Telangana govt launches ‘Saagu-Baagu’ scheme to promote innovation

 T he ‘ Saagu-Baagu ’ project launched by the  Government of Telengana ,   would revolutionise agriculture in the state.   The State government has released an Expression of Interest (EoI) for selection of Project Implementation Partners (PIPs) which will build consortia and deploy bouquet of solutions from several startups and tech-focused organisations, to establish proof of value and accelerate adoption and use of agritech solutions.   The State government and  World Economic Forum (WEF)  jointly invited proposals from startups, Farm Producers Organisations (FPOs), industries, academia and civil society to showcase end-to-end value chain transformation with new age technologies, under its ambitious ‘Saagu-Baagu’ project.

UP polls: BJP begins seat-sharing talks with Nishad Party

  BJP national leadership has begun seat-sharing talks with Nishad Party in UP. Husband forcibly having sex with wife can’t be called illegal says court

  By hearing a dowry harassment case, a Mumbai sessions court observed that the woman’s complaint that her husband had sex with her forcibly cannot be considered an “illegal thing”.   Additional Sessions Judge Sanjashree J. Gharat stated in her order, “It is the further grievance of the complainant that Accused no 1 (husband) committed sexual intercourse with her against her wish.” The court went on to say, “However, the applicant no 1 being husband cannot be said that he committed any illegal thing.... Union minister Narayan Rane arrested over ‘slap Uddhav’ remark

  Indian Union   Minister Narayan  and Rajya Sabha member Rane was arrested for his threatening to “slap”   Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray .  Later on in the same midnight Rane has been granted bail.   Rane was arrested by the Nashik city police after a sessi ons court in Ratnagiri rejected his transit anticipatory bail application.
